- Intro Joshua - General Introduction God gives Israel the land and keeps His promises. Joshua joins courage, mercy, memory, and covenant choice to the promised rest fulfilled in Christ.
- 1-2 Joshua 1-2 - Courage, Rahab, and the Scarlet Cord God strengthens Joshua through His presence and word. Rahab's confession and scarlet cord join courage to mercy and household deliverance.
- 3-4 Joshua 3-4 - Crossing the Jordan and the Memorial Stones The ark leads Israel through the Jordan. Memorial stones teach children to remember God's grace and make faithful service a school of worship.
- 5 Joshua 5 - Circumcision, Passover, and the Commander of the Lord's Host Circumcision, Passover, and the end of manna renew Israel's identity. Before battle, Joshua meets the Commander and learns reverent submission.
- 6 Joshua 6 - Jericho and the Collapse of Pride Jericho falls by faith and obedience, while Rahab's household is spared. Judgment calls the soul to resist pride and refuse to rebuild its old sins.
- 7-8 Joshua 7-8 - Achan, Ai, and Covenant Renewal Achan's hidden theft wounds Israel; defeat at Ai exposes the sin. Renewed obedience leads to covenant worship and the law heard by all.
- 9 Joshua 9 - Gibeon's Deception and a Rash Covenant Gibeon deceives leaders who neglect God's counsel. Their costly oath teaches prayerful judgment and faithfulness after an embarrassing mistake.
- 10 Joshua 10 - Southern Campaign and the Sun Standing Still The Lord answers Joshua's prayer with hail and a lengthened day. Costly loyalty to Gibeon and creation's obedience point toward victory in Christ.
- 11-12 Joshua 11-12 - Northern Victory and the Kings Defeated Israel destroys captured chariots rather than trust them. The northern victory and register of kings teach trust, sober judgment, and grateful memory.
- 13-14 Joshua 13-14 - Land Still Unpossessed and Caleb's Inheritance Unpossessed land waits, the Lord is Levi's portion, and Caleb asks for Hebron at eighty-five. Patient faith receives the gift without entitlement.
- 15 Joshua 15 - Judah's Inheritance and the Springs of Achsah Judah receives its portion, and Achsah asks for springs to make it fruitful. The Greek list names Bethlehem; Jerusalem still awaits its conquest.
- 16-17 Joshua 16-17 - Joseph's Inheritance and the Daughters of Zelophehad Joseph's house receives its portion and Zelophehad's daughters claim God's promise. Tolerated enemies and complaint expose unfinished obedience.
- 18-19 Joshua 18-19 - Shiloh and the Remaining Allotments At Shiloh, Joshua challenges delay and distributes the remaining lots before the tabernacle. Receiving his portion last models holy leadership.
- 20-21 Joshua 20-21 - Cities of Refuge, Levites, and Promise Fulfilled Refuge cities protect life, and Levitical cities bring worship near. God's fulfilled promise opens toward Christ, our Refuge and High Priest.
- 22 Joshua 22 - The Altar of Witness and Unity Preserved Phinehas investigates the altar and hears the eastern tribes. Zeal preserves unity when it asks before it strikes and ends reconciliation in blessing.
- 23 Joshua 23 - Joshua's Farewell Warning Joshua warns a settled people to cleave to the Lord and guard their love. Every promise kept calls for watchfulness against the danger of drift.
- 24 Joshua 24 - Choose This Day Whom You Will Serve God's remembered gifts lead to covenant choice. Household allegiance, the witness stone, and Joseph's bones teach faithfulness and hope beyond death.
